Why do I get the "No translations found" message?
In this article, you'll learn how to troubleshoot the pop-up "No translation found" on the Visual Editor.
If you see the error message "No translations found" on the Visual Editor, it means that Weglot hasn't detected nor translated the content you are trying to edit.
To solve that issue, you have to:
1) Locate the page containing the content you want to translate.
Go to your website and visit the page containing the content you're trying to edit in one of the translated languages (using the language switcher).
2) Visit the page in your destination language(s).
Once you have found the location of your content, use the Weglot language switcher to display the translated version of the page. It will trigger Weglot translation's mechanism and should generate the translation.
3) The translation should be generated in the Visual Editor and in your Weglot Dashboard > Translations > Languages > Translation List.
Should you not see the relevant translation in your Translation List, please consult this article: Troubleshooting - Why is my website not fully translated, but only some parts?
4) The Visual Editor will display the translation, and you can edit it.
Alternatively, if you're still unable to use the Visual Editor for some translations, you may modify them directly in your Translation List, which should also work (see part 1 of How to edit my translations).
