Shopify - Troubleshooting - The button doesn't appear on my website

In this article, you'll learn how to troubleshoot when you can't see the Weglot button on your Shopify store.

1. Make sure that the app embed is well enabled


  1. Check for other multilingual apps

You want to make sure that you don't have any other multilingual apps on your store, nor left-over code from them in your source code, as it could create some conflicts with Weglot.


  1. If you're using your store's preview: check behind the preview bar

The Weglot language switcher's default position is at the bottom-right of your website (you can check the first screenshot of this article for reference). This is also where the Shopify preview bar is, so the default language switcher is hidden behind the Shopify bar. You can easily hide the Shopify bar by clicking on "..." and "Hide bar"
