Which languages are available in Weglot?

Languages supported by Weglot
Weglot allows you to translate your website into many languages. You can find the full and up-to-date list of available languages on this page: https://www.weglot.com/documentation/available-languages. This page shows all the languages that Weglot currently supports out of the box.
Why are some languages available and others not?
Weglot works with three major machine translation providers:
- DeepL
- Google Translate
- Microsoft Bing Translator
A language is available in Weglot as soon as it is supported by at least one of these providers. Weglot automatically chooses the best available provider for each language pair, so you don’t need to configure anything yourself.
Custom languages (Advanced plan and above)
If you are on the Advanced plan or higher, you can go even further by creating custom languages (How can I create a custom language?), even if they are not officially listed.
This allows you to:
- Create regional variations (for example, British English from English)
- Adapt a language to a specific country, audience, or brand tone
- Use an existing language as a base, then customize the translations
Weglot already provides some pre-configured templates, such as English (United Kingdom), to make this easier.
