OnePage - Integration / Setup

In this article, you'll learn how to translate all your content and make your OnePage website multilingual within minutes.


Step 1: Create a Weglot account

Sign up for Weglot, confirm your email, name your project in the dashboard, then select “Other” as the website technology.

Step 2: Add your new languages

Choose your website's original language and the languages you want to translate your website into.

Step 3: Add your website details

Enter your domain name (e.g., mywebsite.com) on the new page, then click "Next".

Choose "Subdirectory (Recommended)", then the link "Skip this step" will appear. Click on it to proceed.

Step 4: Add Weglot to OnePage

Copy and paste the Weglot snippet provided in your dashboard into OnePage.

In your OnePage dashboard, click on "Projects", select your project, go to  “Settings” > “Custom code” and add the Weglot snippet:

NB: Make sure to click on <head> to copy/paste the Weglot code.

Lastly, click the “Update” button to save your changes.


Your website is now translated!

You've now successfully translated your website. Go to your website, and you'll see a language switcher at the bottom right of your site (it may take a few minutes to appear). You can also change its position - check out our guide to find out how. 

Are you seeing some untranslated content on your website? Go to your Weglot project's "App Settings," then add a dynamic rule by clicking on "Add Dynamic" then writing "body" in the selector field. It should look like this:

Weglot provides you with the first round of translation. To view them, log in to your Weglot account and go to your Dashboard> Translations > Languages. Here, you can review and manually edit all your translations.
